Health, Safety and Environmental issues play a vital role in the operation of CMP. Our Health and Safety Policy provides the framework for an effective and practical means of providing for the health, safety and welfare of staff, other consultants and site operatives.
The responsibility for the control and management of the health, safety, welfare and environmental issues is that of a senior Director of CMP.
CMP also employs a dedicated Safety and Environmental Consultant to regularly audit and advise on health, safety, welfare and environmental issues. The Director responsible ensures, as part of his remit that all staff are correctly trained and staff are well inducted.
CMP also operates a vigorous Permit policy ensuring that all work is carried out after extensive vetting of Method Statements and Risk Assessments. CMP sets yearly targets and strategies for their achievement.
